WACVB Patrick Reinsma Memorial Scholarship (Wisconsin Association of Convention & Visitors Bureau)

The purpose of the Wisconsin Association of Convention & Visitors Bureaus Patrick Reinsma Scholarship is to give a worthy student the opportunity to pursue a degree in the WCTC Hospitality Management Program. The scholarship honors the late Patrick Reinsma, a native of Waukesha and an outstanding Wisconsin Department of Tourism Regional Tourism Specialist.

The scholarship will be given to a student that best meets the following criteria:

• 2.75 GPA or higher
• 2nd year student enrolled in the hospitality management program
• Demonstrated interest in the tourism/hospitality industry
• Submit a career plan (500 word or less)
• Provide a 1-page resume
• Provide two reference letters, one from an instructor and one from the community (employer, pastor, neighbor, etc)
